Why You Must Exercise for the Most Effective Fat Loss

It’s all well and good being very good with your eating habits but in order to make the most from any fat loss program you will also need to introduce some exercise.

This is based on some very simple calculations which work out how much you eat, how much weight you need to lose and how quickly you want to lose it.

Let me also state that losing more than 1-2 lbs per week is not the best way to prepare yourself for long term weight and fat loss.

So, how does exercise fit into the overall mix of fat loss?

Well, as an example lets say we want to lose a few pounds of weight. That equates to 7,000 calories i.e. 1lb of weight equals 3,500 calories. Now, if we want to lose 2 pounds in weight, over 2 weeks for example, then we now need to ensure we remove at least 3,500 calories from our diet each week or 500 calories per day.

And that’s just the calorie values relating to food. Now what do you think would happen if, along with eating 500 less calories, you also did some exercise during that week, which in turn also burned some calories? Obviously you’d be losing even more weight.

However, things can get even more complicated as the more calories you burn through a reduction in food calories, and the calories you burn through exercising then the more chances you also start to lose muscle weight. And if you do this over a long period you can lose a high percentage of muscle compared to the actual ‘fat’ that you lose. This is not such a good idea when learning how to lose stomach fat.

So what type of exercises should you be doing and what is the best food to eat in order to help you lose the fat without sacrificing muscle?

Well, there are a number of programs which show men and women of all ages to burn fat and which online a small percentage of the online dieting community know about. These programs are very very effective but lots of people don’t like them because they show people how to lose lots of body fat, but the techniques shown actually require some real work. Yes, some real work is required to lose fat and keep it off long term. Not some new fad that will just be another addition to your dieting yo-yo routine.

Really, if you’re truly serious about losing fat and keeping it off then try out something like Truth About Abs, Burn The Fat, Turbulence Training or similar. These are programs where they teach you proper nutrition and coupled with resistance training will help you shed pounds of fat without losing any of your valuable muscle.
